Clothing Collection for Refugees

Do you live in western PA (or eastern OH)?
Have you been wondering how you can help the refugees that we are currently serving in Lesvos?

My mom is coming to visit at the end of the month(!!) and is collecting items to bring with her which will be given directly to newly arrived refugees.

More and more families are arriving, the weather is changing, and warmer clothes are needed.
One of the biggest needs is kids elastic-waistband sweatpants - of all sizes (0 months - size 14).
The other constant need is men's underwear (boxer briefs are preferred) in sizes small and medium.
The underwear obviously needs to be new.
The kids sweatpants can be used as long as they are in excellent condition (remember that these will be the only pants they have for the next several months - at least - so they need to last!).

The main event where clothing donations will be collected is Christmas at the Farm this coming weekend (November 11&12), but my mom will be happy to receive other donations from you up until Thanksgiving.

Thanks for considering such a tangible gift!

"Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.  For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.'  Then the righteous will answer Him saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?  And she did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?  And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?'  And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'"  (Matthew 25:34-40)
