"So, what do you do?"

We've all been there.  Sitting on a plane next to a stranger waiting for take-off.  Exchanging small-talk with people at a dinner party.  We've been on both the giving and receiving end of the question.

Often one of the first questions, even before learning the other person's name, is:  What do you do?

As church-planters living in a foreign land, we're often asked why we are here.  Maybe we need to take this guy's lead....
