Northern France

After our trip to Loches a few weeks ago, we considered canceling our trip to northern France where we planned to meet with other GEM colleagues.  We were tired and simply anxious to start a routine of sorts in our own city.

Had we known what we'd actually do while there, we definitely would have canceled; however, we are grateful that we didn't!

Anticipating a few Bible studies, coffee tables, and discussions with a man from England about finding People of Peace, we were a bit overwhelmed when our friends met us at the train station and said we were going to start knocking on doors immediately.

Over the next 3 days we knocked on doors, prayed, handed out chocolates, drank coffee, shared testimonies, and presented the Gospel.  It was stretching in every sense of the word - spiritually, mentally, linguistically! - yet an incredible experience.  Our friends have been in this city for nearly 3 years, and this is the most fruit they've seen to date.  Praise God!

Having had 69 spiritual conversations and being invited into 10 homes/communities, we have many stories to share, so stay tuned - and pray for the people we interacted with!
