Language School: Complete
We've spent 11 entire months in full-time language school. That's to say that for the last year, our primary focus has been learning the French language.
And now we are done.
| We counted down the last 42 hours with a paper chain. |
Well, language learning is never finished; language learning is life-long, and it's quite obvious that we still have a long way to go before we are truly fluent in French. However, we have completed our full-time language studies at ISEFE in Chambery.
Here are some photos from our last day of school on Friday:
Everyone was assigned a particular French-speaking country to present.
Our group (above) presented Togo.
After the presentations the entire school gathered outside to share a snack and hear from the President of the school.
Our class then had a picnic lunch together as we said our goodbyes.
Our main professor has taught at this school for 11 years, and Friday was her final day, too.
No more school!
| School is exhausting. |
We will now transition to more of a focus on ministry directly related to our church plant in Aix-les-Bains while continuing to study a few hours every week with our teammate and private tutor, Valerie.
