TdF Prayer Team: Day 4
Breakfast started a bit earlier yesterday as Bryan and Charles had to catch a train to their next destination. After some time of prayer and worship we went to a few particular buildings in the city to pray.
We prayed at the Temple....
...near a local medium's shop...
...at the train station...
We prayed around a few of the buildings that our team is looking to possible rent/purchase for future ministry and church services....
And we prayed at the casino - especially pertaining to the Clairvoyance Festival taking place there next week.
After a quick lunch we headed to Annecy to hear from our friend Francois, the pastor of ABBA Church. He shared his family's story, a bit of the church's story, and some ways for us to pray for him, his family, and his ministry. Our team in Aix is blessed to have such a good relationship and partnership with ABBA.
Fred and Johanna met us after our time with Francois and showed us a bit of Annecy. Of course we had to have ice cream! They shared their testimonies with us and their vision for reaching the city of Aix-les-Bains. Again, it was good for Jordan and me to hear their stories, too. We are excited for the vision that Fred and Johanna have and look forward to seeing their dreams play out!
Annecy is such a cool city, so we took advantage of the fun atmosphere and enjoyed great local fondue and tartiflette for dinner. (Next week we're going to need to eat only fruits and vegetables - perhaps you "juicers" can leave us some good concoctions for our new food processor/blender in the comments.....)
There is also a street artist festival taking place this week, so check out this sweet guitarist!

Juicing! Well, I've never made juice using a food processor or blender, but I imagine the idea is pretty much the same as with a juicer. I love http://juicerecipes.com/. You can search recipes based on health needs or ingredients. I love the ingredients search option, because then I can base my recipe on whatever I already have on hand! :)
