TdF Prayer Team: Day 3
Once again, we gathered at our house for breakfast, prayer, and worship.
But instead of intentionally prayer walking, we enjoyed a bit of French culture at the Market on Wednesday morning.
Bryan (GEM TdF leader) and Charles (GEM France Leader) joined us in time for lunch and we had some great kebabs at a local restaurant. After lunch, our team went to the Jewish community to pray, and Jordan and I spent some time catching up with Charles, one of our GEM France Supervisors.
Steve met us with his jeep and helped transport the team to the top of Le Revard. Le Revard is a mountain with an amazing view of Aix-les-Bains.
As we climbed the mountain, it began to rain. Buckets. We enjoyed the show from our dry seats in our own car. ;)
Though it was a bit overcast from the storm, it was still an incredible sight. We will be sure to return to this place again on a clear day! It was cool to spend a bit of time praying for the city of Aix-les-Bains and the surrounding regions from that vantage point.
For dinner, Thierry and Valerie hosted us in their new home (they just moved in last week!). It was another great night of fellowship around a meal.
That's one aspect of French culture that we are really learning to appreciate!
