Tour de New York, New Jersey, et Pennsylvania

"Where do you live?" is a common question.
"We are nomads," I respond.
"We have lots of homes," Jordan says.
"All over the place!" is our common and most accurate answer.

After New Year's we returned to western PA for some tax-preparation training with Kissling & Company.  Beginning next week, through March, we will both work part-time preparing taxes.

Can you tell we were having a good time?

After several weeks with the Kisslings in western PA, on February 2 we packed our bags again, hopped in our car, and drove to New Jersey.  We stayed with some cousins then took the train into NYC to surprise Jordan's sister and celebrate Jenna's [30th!!] birthday.

Jenna's birthday was full of surprises - we were grateful to be a part of it!
We also enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with Kristin, a friend we hadn't seen since our wedding!

From New York we went to Philadelphia, PA to visit with more friends and update them on how God is leading us to France.  It was a refreshing weekend!

Ted and Jess cooked dinner for us then we enjoyed some ice cream!
Steph and I enjoyed a free day at the Museum of Art while our men enjoyed the nice weather.
Ben and Steph are our "Forever Friends" and we like the new habit of seeing them every month!
Then Ryan and Ansley joined us for the Super Bowl - it was like being back at Penn State.
On Monday we left Ben and Steph's to catch up with some of Jordan's friends from Williamsport who now live closer to Philadelphia.  It was fun for me to meet people who were a part of Jordan's past!  Unfortunately, we forgot to take pictures with them.

We were encouraged to hear how God is using them within the context of their own communities to make and multiply disciples; God is moving, even in PA!  We stayed the night with Jordan's aunt and uncle, and this morning we met with a pastor in Harrisburg who is a part of a new church plant - again, we were encouraged!

Now we are hanging out at the York library before heading to [the newly engaged!!] Tanya's house for dinner - we are excited!  It's a good day after a great weekend!

I'm blogging, Jordan's contacting people and learning French.  Here's proof. :)
