Church, Christmas, and our last hours in France

This morning we went to church in Senlis, a very old town. This church has about 80 people, including north Africans, French, Americans, and a TON of kids. We could potentially partner with this church while building relationships in a neighboring town in preparation for a new church plant. Pray for this church on Tuesday - they currently meet in a hotel, but on Tuesday they are voting whether or not to purchase a building; this will be a big and necessary step as they are quickly outgrowing the hotel space.

After church, which was a special Christmas program (seen in the video below), we enjoyed a French-style potluck - we shouldn't have to eat for a few days after the wine, cheese, salad, meats, potatoes, and desserts!

Then tonight we went to St. Peter's, an Anglican church, for an advent service and carol sing (all in English!). It was wonderful! While the small church was filled with people, Linda (a GEM missionary) said that the Spiritual life of most people there is probably low; many of them are British and go out of tradition. For us, however, it was a sweet time of worship.

Tomorrow morning (Monday) we leave Chantilly at 7:15 (1:15 in PA) and fly out of Paris at 11:45am. Please pray for smooth flights and rest; we learned today that the airport security is on strike and that thus far no flights have been cancelled but they have been delayed. We are to fly through Washington, DC and arrive in Pittsburgh around 6pm. Please pray!
