1,465 miles and then some...
Since our appointment to France, Jordan and I have been busy - packing, sharing our story, dealing with cars, and spending quality time with as many of our friends in Colorado as possible. It's been a busy, fun, and stressful few weeks!
Some of our friends had a going-away party for us - which included a photo booth. Perhaps these photos will give you an idea of who [some of] our friends are and what/who we'll be missing in Colorado. :)
On Friday my mom and brother flew into Denver and they helped us pack all day Saturday then squeezed into our cars with us to drive the 1,465 miles to Enon Valley, PA. I think my sister's prayer for a "Mary Poppins" car were answered - this "before" picture doesn't do justice!

Here I am with Amy and Laura - my first friends in Colorado. Each of us had been in Colorado Springs for a short time and were desperate for friends. We attended a Bible Study, which cost $15 for the materials, and walked away with some really great friends. They were truly an answer to prayer!
And they've decided that they'll take an EPIC road trip to France next Thanksgiving to visit us.
They will be the first women to kayak across the Atlantic Ocean. I can't wait!
This is the group of girls I've been spending the last several Wednesday evenings with to study Romans...
Jordan doesn't believe we've opened our Bibles, but I promise that we have!
Amy has introduced me to other great friends, too - here's 2 of her roommates, Julie and Lindi.
This picture - Jared, Jordan, and Jacob - is worth 1000 words.
Just in the last several months Jordan and I were really feeling like Colorado was home, but after 1 year 11 months, and 12 days, it was time to move back to PA. We will certainly miss the beautiful scenery of the Colorado Rockies and our friends, but we are excited to continue in the adventure to France. On Friday my mom and brother flew into Denver and they helped us pack all day Saturday then squeezed into our cars with us to drive the 1,465 miles to Enon Valley, PA. But, after about 26 hours of driving in 2 days and a wonderful reunion and night of rest with the Burke family in Illinois, we arrived at my parents' house late last night.
We will spend Thanksgiving with my family here in western PA then head to Wheaton, IL for training on December 4. From Wheaton we will head to France then to central PA for Christmas with the Eglis.
And so our life as nomads begins......

So excited for you. This will be a wonderful adventure for you, and we are glad to be (vicariously) along for the ride.
