An Update Poem

Our journey in missions began long before we knew
where in the world we would move.
November 1, 2010 Kate began working with GEM,
and exactly 1 year later something new will begin.

For weeks and months we’ve been praying,
trying to determine what the Lord was saying.
Finally we have taken a stance –
our new home will be in FRANCE!
Making and multiplying disciples will be our aim,
but a specific city we cannot yet claim.

By Thanksgiving we plan to be back in PA,
raising funds, visiting family, and celebrating the holidays.
Pre-field training in early 2012 will take place in Colorado
and leave us only a few months to go
before June when we no longer just meet and share
but we actually move from here to there!
